  5. When installed on a NEC Powermate SX, QEMM-386 version 5.0 will 
  6. cause continual reboots.  QEMM version 6.0 and later detect this 
  7. machine and avoid the problem.

  9. To solve this problem, use the NOSH parameter to QEMM.  
  10.  
  11. In its simplest form you could load QEMM as follows in your 
  12. CONFIG.SYS file:

  14. DEVICE=QEMM.SYS NOSH
  15.  
  16. If you have other parameters already configured after QEMM, then 
  17. just add NOSH to the end of them.
  18.  
  19. NOSH means No Shadow RAM and is discussed in the QEMM-386 version 
  20. 5.0 manual.
